Statement of Faith
We believe that the Scriptures of both Old and New Testaments are inerrant, verbally inspired of God, and are the ultimate and final authority of man's faith and action. We accept the Authorized Version (KJV) to be the inspired Word of God for the English language {2 Timothy 3:16}.
We believe in a Triune God, or Godhead, who is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; these three make ONE God {Ephesians 2:18; 1 John 5:7}.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, to worship God, and to fellowship with God {Genesis 1:26}.
We believe that by Adam's first transgression, the entire human race fell under the penalty of sin; every human is a sinner, by nature and by choice {Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 5:12-19}.
We believe in a personal devil, named Satan, who was cast out of Heaven and is now the prince of this present world. He is the archenemy of God and desires to ascend above God. He has already been judged to an eternity in Hell and the lake of fire, and looks to bring as many humans there with him {Genesis 3:14-15; Isaiah 14:12; Ezekiel 28:16}.
We believe that salvation is found only in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is by grace through faith in the shed blood of Lord Jesus Christ, plus or minus nothing. Salvation is realized when a sinner realizes their sin, confesses and repents of that sin, and trusts in Christ's death and resurrection to be saved from sin. Once saved, a Christian will never lose their salvation {Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:11-13}.
We believe that Heaven and Hell are real, literal places where a human will be conscious, have all senses, and know where and why they are there. They are the eternal abodes after this present life: those who have trusted in Christ will be forever with God in Heaven; those who have rejected Christ will be eternally separated from God in the Hell, later in the lake of fire and brimstone {Matthew 5:12; Luke 16:19-26; John 14:2; Revelation 20:10}.
We believe in the local church consisting in regenerated believers who have been baptized according to the Scriptures, who have come together to worship, edify, serve, and share the Gospel to the ends of the earth. In church ordinance, Baptism and the Lord's Supper are to be followed {Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-34}.
We believe in Bible separation, to be separated from sin in this world, self, and from Satan, that we may be sanctified for God's use {2 Timothy 2:21}.
